Latinas Contra Cancer (LCC) was founded to address the void in culturally and linguistically sensitive programs that meet the health care needs of Latinos around issues of cancer.
We are incorporated in California, based in Silicon Valley, but work to link services nationwide. We provide cancer health education, patient navigation and psychosocial family support group services targeting the underserved and low income, Spanish speaking.
Our website includes a wealth of information for cancer patients and health care providers, an on-line index of cancer education materials, as well as resources and referrals to cancer related sites nationwide. We welcome imput, collaboration and articles in English and Spanish related to cancer treatment, research and resources. firstname.lastname@example.org
LCC is a 501c.3. Federal Tax ID 56-2412069
LCC and its Board of Directors are eternally grateful to our former fiscal agent, the nationally respected Center for Employment Training, based in San Jose, CA. CET nurtured and supported us through our initial growth, September 2003 through February 2005.
