Turning the spotlight on Prostate Cancer, the second biggest killer of Latino men after lung cancer, 300 people supported the June 9th event. Latinas Contra Cancer raised awareness about this deadly disease taking the message to the street in a two mile Walk from downtown San Jose, CA to the Eastside's Mexican Heritage Plaza. Students from Lee Mathson Middle School in East San Jose participated ---holding signs noting prostate cancer facts in English and Spanish on 20 blocks along the walk route
