LCC helps to bridge the gap in service by working with the individual and family to access resources. Those include counseling, referrals to transportation, help with applications for mammograms, translation, legal referrals.

Support Groups
Support is essential to the cancer patient. Studies find support groups extend life and improve the quality of the treatment experience.
We believe cancer is a family crisis. LCC has a Spanish language family support group which addresses psycho-social issues of both the cancer patient and their family. The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 5:30pm -7:30pm. Individual or family counseling is also available on the phone or through home visits.
All of the above services are free.
